NORTH BATTLEFORD - North Battleford galleries has announced it is hosting an exhibition reception for the show "A Hole in the Forest" by Karen Pask-Thompson.

You can meet the artist at the reception Saturday, April 2 between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Chapel Gallery.

According to her website, the series of paintings for "A Hole in the Forest" is a "response to the collision that is currently happening between the human and natural world." 

"Often metaphorical, Saskatchewan artist Karen Pask-Thompson specializes in creating original landscape, still life and abstract images using acrylic and oil paint. Her work often shares a narrative about the human condition while utilizing prairie imagery."
