NORTH BATTLEFORD — Light of Christ Schools engaged in a variety of activities to celebrate Education Week in Saskatchewan, reflecting the theme “Reaching for Tomorrow, Celebrating Today.”
Students and staff engaged in various fun activities and school spirit days to celebrate. Some of this fun included Fall Colour Day, Career Day, Class Colour Day, Anything but a Backpack Day, School Colours Day, Anything but Me Day and Better Together Tuesday Shirt and Activity Day.
Schools also had special guests join in on the fun and share in Education Week. Members of the North Stars visited, read and played basketball with students. Seniors and grandparents were invited to a bingo afternoon. Clergy came to visit students. A community literacy partnership group came in to read and gift books to students.
