Lloydminster rural RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in connection to the case of a missing dog.
The dog, named Oscar, a basset hound, was one of two dogs that was on the loose on highway 16 near Lashburn on August 3.
One of the dogs was struck by a vehicle. Meanwhile a female in a 4-door dark blue Chevy Lumina rescued Oscar.
According to police, a heavy-set blonde female stated to a witness that she would take Oscar to the SPCA. However, she never did.
It is hoped Oscar can be located so that he can be reunited with his family.
