Crime Stoppers: RCMP looking for police imposter

Other than the blue flashing light, there were no other indicators of law enforcement

On Monday, Oct. 4, at 12:30 p.m. on Highway 303, approximately 10 km east of Lloydminster, a female motorist was pulled over by a male suspect who had a blue flashing light emanating from the cab of his vehicle.

The suspect asked the female to get out of her vehicle and produce identification. The female did not follow his direction, and instead drove away, calling 911. Other than the blue flashing light, there were no other indicators of law enforcement.

The male suspect was described as Caucasian, in his mid to late 30s wearing a white button up shirt. He was NOT dressed as a police officer, and was NOT driving a police vehicle.

The suspect vehicle was described as an older model black SUV with an all black grill.

A sketch of the suspect, and a stock photo of the suspected vehicle has been issued.

If you can identify this male, please click the 'Contact Us' button on the Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers Facebook page or call 1-800-222-8477 to leave an anonymous tip. If your tip leads to an arrest or charge, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
