If you attended a cabaret in Lloydminster on Aug. 22 you need to read this.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says please be aware that there is an increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 at the following location where a person or persons attended while infectious:

  • Cabaret at Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds, Saskatchewan Building, 5521 49 Avenue, Lloydminster, Sask. from 11:30 PM on Aug 21, 2021 to 1:30 AM on Aug 22, 2021.

COVID-19, and its variants, are still present in Saskatchewan. Persons infected with or exposed to COVID-19 should take all precautions as advised by Public Health and take all reasonable measures to significantly reduce the risk of infecting others. Following public health guidance is particularly important for those who are unvaccinated, or have received only one dose of COVID vaccine.

As per , all individuals in attendance during this date and time should:

  • ·Immediately self-isolate and remain on isolation until Sept 6, 2021
  • ·Seek testing for COVID-19 immediately, and, if negative,  again on Sept 2, 2021

Exception: If you have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and the second dose was received on or before Aug 9, 2021, you do not need to self-isolate but:

  • ·Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 until Sept 6, 2021
  • ·If symptoms develop, start self-isolating immediately and seek testing
  • ·If you need to check your vaccination status, please access .

Self-isolation means you need to stay home, avoid contact with anyone who is not fully vaccinated (individuals who are considered fully vaccinated have received two doses of vaccine and are at least two weeks past their second dose), and stay away from work, school, stores, social events, and any other public setting.
