Two new deaths are being reported Monday nin the provincial government’s COVID-19 report. One death was od a person in the 80+ age group from the North West zone. The other, in the same age group, was in the North Central zone.
The death bring the North West zone’s total fatalities to 76, as compared with 565 for the province.
The North West’s subzone 1 has six active cases, subzone 2 has 21, subzone 3 has 23 and subzone 4, comprising the Battlefords, has 26, for a total of 76 active cases, 10 less than Sunday.
There are eight people in hospital in the North West and recovered cases are up another 12 from yesterday to 4,487.
