The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce has set Feb. 9 as the date for their Chair's Luncheon.
The event, normally staged as a "banquet", is switching to a virtual format this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The event will happen between 12 noon and 1:30 p.m. that date.
The proceedings will feature the induction and swearing-in of Melanie Roberts of North West College as the new Chair. The luncheon will also coincide with their Annual General Meeting.Â
Charcuterie Board lunches for two will be provided to participants for $50 each. The guest speaker is Jeremy Harrison, Minister of Trade and Export Development and Minister of Immigration and Career Training.Â
