It has been confirmed that North Battleford will indeed hold another budget deliberation on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
A Special Planning Committee Meeting has been scheduled for that evening commencing at 5:15 p.m.
According to the notice posted at the city's website, the meeting will be held via Zoom using Webinar ID: 891 6407 3330. Zoom details will also be available on the City's website before the meeting.
This would be the third budget deliberation session by city council, following two Planning Committee meetings in November. Council is still in the process of determining what the tax increase will be. After the last Planning Committee meeting, administration is proposing a 6.74 percent increase.
The budget is slated to go to council for discussion at their regular meeting on Dec. 13.
