• Police are investigating a serious assault which is believed to have occurred in the area of the 1300 block of 104th Street in North Battleford. Shortly after 8 p.m. Oct. 31 a male was located there suffering significant injuries to his hands and head caused by an edged weapon. He was taken to hospital after being located by a patrolling North Battleford Community Officer. The victim remains in hospital in stable condition. A residence in the area was searched as part of the ongoing investigation, but no arrests have been made at this time.
• Call of a disturbance at St Laurent Drive in North Battleford at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29. A woman in her 20s was reported to have been assaulted by a suspect known to her while sitting in her vehicle. Minor injuries reported. A 2-year-old woman is facing charges of assault.
• 911 call of an assault in progress at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at a residence on Mosquito First Nation. The victim was located with injuries in the residence. A 25-year-old man was arrested on scene and will be appearing n Nov. 17 in North Battleford Provincial Court charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm.
• A 35-year-old man from Regina was arrested shortly after 7 a.m. Oct. 31 after a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle on 100th Street in North Battleford. The subject was found to have several outstanding warrants and a small amount of methamphetamine was also located. The accused later became violent with members during a remand hearing. He is facing new charges of possession of methamphetamine and two charges of assaulting a police officer. Nis first appearance Nov. 1.
• Call of an assault in progress on the 1200 block of 97th Street in North Battleford at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31. A man in his 30s was found to have cuts to his neck and wrist areas. A 28-year-old woman is facing one count of assault with a weapon. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 1.
• At about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 30, a victim in his 20s reported being approached and assaulted by two men while he was riding a bike in the area of 19th Avenue and 104th Street in North Battleford. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s phone, but he was able to fight off the suspects who then fled on foot. Matter remains under investigation.

Break and enter to a Business on Railway Avenue Â鶹ÊÓƵ in North Battleford reported in the early morning of Oct. 28. Tools and other accessories among items reported stolen.
