Autopsy planned after man found dead in Prince Albert

Prince Albert Police Service responded to the 1200 block of 28th Street East to assist Parkland Ambulance who was responding to a man who was not conscious and not breathing.

An autopsy is planned for Sept. 3rd in Saskatoon after police found a man dead in Prince Albert. 

On Sept. 1st at just before 9 a.m., Prince Albert Police Service responded to the 1200 block of 28th Street East to assist Parkland Ambulance who was responding to a man who was not conscious and not breathing.

Upon arrival, police and paramedics located a 22-year-old man who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Section are working with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of the man’s death.

Further updates will be provided as the Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
