HUMBOLT — Humboldt RCMP are looking for help to identify a man on an ATV they said sped away when they attempted to stop him.
Police said the attempt to stop a loud ATV riding through the alleys near Main Street took place shortly after midnight on May 1. The ATV then took off from police at a high rate of speed eastbound on Highway 5.
Humboldt RCMP said the ATV – a newer black Can Am with blue ring style headlights – was ridden by a man in his late 20s with short brown hair and a short beard wearing a plaid shirt, grey pants, and rubber boots.
