In the initial hours of Saskatchewan’s new booking system being launched, 10,636 individuals in Saskatchewan 80 years of age and older have been booked for their COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 5,616 of those appointments were made today (as of 11 a.m.).

Since the booking system launched:

- 8,552 , or 80.4 per cent of appointments were made online;

- 2,084 or 19.6 per cent of appointments have been booked through the phone line.

- Issues that had been experienced yesterday with individuals trying to call using their cell phone have now been resolved.

Officials thank everyone for not attempting to book appointments until you become eligible. This allows those who are eligible to book more easily. Your continued patience is appreciated.
