Another court appearance for Hudson Bay man charged in firearm trafficking investigation

RCMP raided a home in the Hudson Bay area on March 6, and seized forty rifles, two handguns, and about 20 more firearms.

HUDSON BAY - A new court date has been set for a Hudson Bay man, arrested in connection with a firearm trafficking investigation.

At Hudson Bay court on Aug. 27, Steven Bondy, 56, had his matters adjourned to Sept. 5.

RCMP raided a home in the Hudson Bay area March 6, and seized 40 rifles, two handguns, and about 20 more firearms in various states of disassemble, and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

They also confiscated illegal cigarettes, mint coins and gold jewelry believed to be stolen, and small amounts of cocaine and crystal meth.
