John Paul II Collegiate students now have the ability to create unique yearbook pages online that will appear in only the student's copy of the yearbook.
Every student who purchases a yearbook is able to participate in this new innovative personal page project. This is not to be confused with the traditional grad recognition pages (which are available only to students in Grade 12, and appear in all yearbooks and have different price levels).
With Jostens Personal Yearbook Pages, students will be able to personalize the yearbook tradition. This new affordable feature encourages self-expression by enabling students to add pictures of their choice.
Four customizable pages are provided to each student who wishes to purchase a yearbook and personalize their memories of the school year. Students can choose to complete the four personal pages on their own, or by using a "share" feature, friends will be able to help create their section. As a bonus, each student will receive eight blank autograph pages to further enhance the tradition of signing friends' books. These pages are created by the students using their own pictures, art, poems and much more. The pages are then bound into their personal copy of the yearbook.
"Yearbooks are unique in that they are created by students for students to connect with friends, teachers, and their school. Yearbooks chronicle what is most relevant to students," said Julie Fitzgerald, yearbook marketing director, Jostens.
"This is an exciting time as the yearbook tradition evolves to allow every student to make their individual memories a lasting part of their copy of the school yearbook."
By visiting www.yearbookyourself.com the four full-color pages are available for only $15. Also, if students take the time to visit the website - www.yearbookyourself.com -before Oct. 15 they will be e-mailed a code which is good for a free cell phone skin.
