Having a hard time Christmas shopping for that creative person on your list this year?

The Mix art gallery in Saskatoon is host to two ReArtCycle members for one more week. If you missed the opening of We Come In Peace, you can still make it to the show this weekend to see incredible art by local Paynton artist Mariann Taubensee and Saskatoon artist Zoltan Markan.

Glass and resin, styrofoam and marbles have been turned into interesting and innovative art work.Items which usually get sent to the bin orthe second hand shopto sit on shelves collecting dust, have been turned into decorative, shiny pieces of sculpture.

The Mix, located at 532-24th St. E. , will be open Friday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

The next ReArtCycle show featuring all of themembers will take place Jan. 3 to Feb. 1, 2011 at Circle Center Mall in Saskatoon.
