In boys' doubles, Jay Sutherland and Colt Peel also placed third. In boys' singles, Travis Baldwin took fourth place and Chance Jurke third. At Junior Districts on the 16th, Danielle and Tayler placed third in their pod but will not be advancing. This is the same with Kody and Treana, Theresa and Kali who all placed third but lost out to Lloyd and Meadow Lake.

For senior badminton we had Ali Franks and Beth Nerbas win bronze at Districts in girls' doubles. Colton Brazeau and Troy Smith won bronze at Districts in boys' doubles while Astrid Nyame and Jay Boggust took home a bronze medal in mixed doubles. Astrid and Jay will advance to Regionals on May 7 in Meadow Lake. Good Luck!

In the last week before holidays Maidstone High had a spirit week. On Monday it was Jersey Day, Tuesday was wear pastel colors, Wednesday was "er" day (you could dress up as anything that ended with -er - for example, worker, runner, teacher, etc.) and Thursday was sweatpants day.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
