White Birch Ballet Company is Saskatchewan's only professional ballet company. Formed in 2008 to serve the growing needs of the province's dance community, the company's mission is to provide performing and other development opportunities for professional and emerging ballet dancers within the province. In doing so, the company provides Saskatchewan audiences with high-quality Saskatchewan-produced ballets and promotes the work of Canadian choreographers.
Culture on the Go grants help Saskatchewan artists to further their careers and share their art, music or performances with people in our province and beyond. The pilot program gives people everywhere the opportunity to better appreciate the fine work of our artists and gives more insight into Saskatchewan's strong and vibrant culture. Culture on the Go touring projects are supported with funding provided to the Saskatchewan Arts Board by the Government of Saskatchewan, through the Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport.
