ENGLEFELD — These pig-themed lights didn't just fly away.
Humboldt/Lanigan RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in multiple thefts of decorative lights in Englefeld. These incidents occurred sometime between the start of the town's Hogfest in July 2023 and Nov. 17.
Police believe the thieves either used a ladder or an extendable pole to knock the “hog” lights down.
Each light is custom made and are owned by the Town of Englefeld.
These matters are still under investigation by the Humboldt/Lanigan RCMP.
