PORCUPINE PLAIN — Sask Express is making its way through provincial parks this summer and is making a stop at Greenwater Provincial Park.
On July 23, the dance troupe will hold a workshop from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a show at 7 p.m.
The show, Reel Music: The Sequel, will journey throughout the history of motion pictures via the hit classic songs that made them so moving.
“A group of friends find a magical attic filled with film memorabilia where movie scenes and their characters come to life!v said the Sask. Parks website. “What they don't realize is they aren't the first to find this attic and change movie history forever. With special visitors, they find out that movie stars from classic movies have started leaving their films, erasing iconic roles and stories! The crew must now decide if they want to help restore classic movie scenes and rekindle the magic movie moments.”
Before the show, at the workshop, the cast will lead attendees through music, lyrics, and choreography for a number in the show.
“During our last number we'll call everyone who participated in the workshop to dance and sing with Sask Express. Now it's your turn in the spotlight,” they said.
This event is free with a valid park entry permit.
