JAMES SMITH FIRST NATION — James Smith Cree Nation will be the site of a RCMP Musical Ride performance.
They will perform at the Bernard Constant School Grounds at 2 p.m. on July 18.
Dignitaries and acknowledgements and presentations will commence right at 2 p.m., with Musical Ride to follow.
Chief Wally Burns was quoted saying it’s a huge opportunity for the community.
The Musical Ride perform annually take place between the months of May and October. It travels to each province once every four years to ensure as many Canadians as possible can experience this spectacle.
These performances help raise thousands of dollars for local charities and non-profit groups.
Burns noted the musical ride will be a great opportunity for members of James Smith Cree Nation, but also for members of neighbouring communities who want to come and watch too.
