BJORKDALE — Joanne and Gilbert Desrosier attended the 55th World of Wheels car show and shine in Calgary, Alta. from March 31 to April 2. They took their 1955 Ford Truck to the show and are coming home with a third place finish and many memories as Bert’s siblings were able to attend with him.
Some local Bjorkdale kids who are on the Tisdale Twisters Gymnastics team attended the Yorkton Gymnastics competition and are coming home with some hardware. Madisyn Johnson received first in vault and beam, a second place in floor and a third place on bars for a second place silver over all finish. Jordice Selensky got first in vault and an overall bronze medal. Ellie won first place ribbons in vault, floor and beam and finished with a silver medal overall.
