WEIMAN: Wayne Wilfred
June 8, 1960 - December 9, 2013
The death of Mr. Wayne Wilfred Weiman of Oliver Lodge, Saskatoon, SK, (and formerly of Bruno, SK), occurred at his residence on Monday, December 9, 2013. He was 53 years of age. Wayne was born on June 8, 1960, to Joseph and Annie (nee Nett) Weiman in Humboldt, SK. He grew up on the family farm northeast of Bruno and attended Bruno Elementary School and Bruno High School. Following his Grade 12 graduation, Wayne enrolled in cooking classes at SIAST in Saskatoon. Upon entering the workforce, he was employed in Saskatoon at Supervalu as a baker and at Royal University Hospital in the medical dispensary. Other than going for coffee with his brothers, Wayne was a quiet person who kept to himself. His enjoyment and interest in genealogy led him to compiling a family history of the Weiman family, a project he was humbly proud of. Due to declining health, in the spring of 2013, he became a resident of Oliver Lodge, his home until the present. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by three sisters and three brothers: Anita (Walter) Androsoff of Saskatoon; Lillian (Wilfred) Theissing of Bruno; Werner Weiman of Saskatoon; Glen (Cheryl) Weiman of Brisbane, Australia; Colleen McCrea of Saskatoon; and Donald Weiman of Saskatoon; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Annie(nee Nett) Weiman; and by three brothers: Allan, Dennis and Brent Weiman. The Funeral Mass was held at St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, Bruno, on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Joseph Ackerman, OSB. Others taking part were: Bruce Waldbillig, crossbearer; Wanda Manderscheid and Wendy Waldbillig, scripture readers; Hailey Manderscheid, intentions; Mark and Ruth Weiman, giftbearers; Brendan Weiman, eulogist; Debbie Weiman and Audrey Bender, memorial table attendants. Music ministry was provided by organist Annie Moritz and the St. Bruno Catholic Senior Choir. The urnbearers were Werner Weiman and Donald Weiman. Honorary pallbearers were all Wayne's nieces and nephews. Interment will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to either the St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church Building Fund or the Bruno Seniors' Centre. Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, SK.
