Reineke: Vera (nee Znamirowski)
Mrs. Vera Reineke (nee Znamirowski), born April 30, 1925 on the family farm in the Glen Elder School District, died May 1, 2013 at St. Paul's Hospital. Survived by daughter Vera Caroline, son Gordon (Shirley) and granddaughter Cheryl (Chris), sister Ada Kruzelnicki, niece Phyllis and family, nephews Peter and Fred and families, several in-laws, nieces and nephews of her late husband. Predeceased by her husband Charles, four infant children, her parents Pauline (Synyszyn) and Karol Znamirowski, sister Alice, an infant brother, and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Prayers and Rosary were held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Requiem Mass was held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Both services were held at Park Funeral Chapel (311 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon) with Rev. Fr. Raymond Lillis officiating. Interment followed in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carmel district, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eye Care Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital or the St. Paul's Hospital Foundation.
