Roudy Allan Bourque, son of Gillisa Crone and Riley Bourque, and grandson of Jeff and Jen Crone and Carmen Bourque and Blaine McNeal, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the age of 3 years.
Roudy was born September 9th 2009 at Victoria hospital, Prince Albert SK to the proud and ever loving parents Riley and Gillisa. Roudy brought happiness and joy to whomever he met and wherever he went. He was a loving easy going independent little farmer. He loved riding in tractors, swathers, trucks, combines or basically any equipment he could get into. Roudy was not shy he would talk to just about anyone. He loved animals, especially his puppies. Roudy loved being outside whether he was playing in his sandbox, helping with chores or working in the field. Roudy most always had a smile on his face which was contagious. He really enjoyed looking at all the pictures in his farm auction books, feeding his cow, playing or watching sports especially hockey and football, eating, singing and dancing, cleaning and making people laugh. He loved to be sung to read to, and basically spend as much time visiting and talking with whoever he was with as much as possible. There are not enough words to express how special and full of life Roudy was but to all who has had the privilege of being touched by a memory of Roudy should know. Roudy is survived by his mother Gillisa Crone (Shane and Wyatt), and his father Riley Bourque (Chantel, Savannah and Zack); his grandparents: Jeff and Jen Crone, Carmen Bourque, and Blaine McNeal; his great grandma Josephine Crone and his great grandpa Leon Bourque; his aunts and uncles: Josh Crone(Christina and Rosalind), Brandon Crone (Olivia and Breanna), Elisha Bourque(Arin), Jessica Bourque, and Nick Bourque; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins relatives and friends. Roudy was predeceased by his great grandparents: Robert & Pauline Langen, Alice Bourque, Gerald & Berna McNeal, and Paul Crone; and his uncle Stephen. A Funeral Service was held at the Crossroads Bible Church in Spalding, on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Unger officiating. Interment followed in St. George's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Naicam. Donations in memory of Roudy will be graciously accepted by the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK.
