Larry’s sudden passing is mourned by his wife, Sandy, and family, Tina Bautz, Janalee McBee (Shawn, Tyson, and Dominick) and Jarrad Nabholz. He is survived by his siblings Arthur, Edmund, Alvin(Rita), Marianne(Henry deceased), Daneda Gaillard(Edward), Eldon(Marie), Ewald, Annette Stewart(Brian), Elsie Schaefer and Lorne(Elaine); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; his friends, old and new, in Saskatoon and surrounding area and the ‘Hood’ – a wonderful close knit group of friends in Lake Chaparral. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Gustav and Emma, his sisters-in-law, Ruby and Vivian, his niece, Carla, and his brother, Harold. More recently, the Bautz family has borne the sorrow of the passing of Larry’s brothers Henry and Elmer(Fuzz), his former brother-in-law Elmer Schaefer, and his niece Terrie Stewart. Larry was a truck driver at heart and although he held dispatch and supervisory positions at Siemens Transport, Saskatoon, and TriCal Trucking, Calgary, he identified with the ‘boys’ – the drivers of rigs, big and small. He was a life-long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Saskatchewan Roughriders – both teams providing hours of enjoyment and anguish as they faltered or won throughout the season. Wherever he went, Larry made family of the friends he met and his jokes and stories were memorable – indeed, truth was often stranger than fiction when it came to fun when the Bautz Family got together to celebrate a special occasion or to simply enjoy the moment. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 P.M at the Faith Lutheran Church, Middle Lake, SK. Larry’s cremated remains will be interred in the Middle Lake Country Cemetery. Larry’s little buddy and best boy, Joey his French Bulldog, will be interred alongside him. Larry’s Annual Birthday BBQ will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Details will be provided at a later date. Larry’s family wishes to thank Calgary EMS Service, the caring and professional staff at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Health Campus ICU, and McInnis and Holloway Fish Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Middle Lake Multiplex Fundraiser, Box 119, Middle Lake, SK, SOK 2XO. Forward condolences through .
