The passing of Elizabeth Stein, age 100 years, occurred at the Warman Mennonite Special Care Home on Friday, January 30, 2015.ÌýElizabeth was born and raised in Muenster, Saskatchewan.ÌýAfter she married her husband Paul in 1934, she spent several years in Flin Flon, Man. and Sudbury, Ont. In 1946 they took up farming in the St. Gregor district where Paul continued his carpentry work.ÌýIn 1987, they sold the farm and moved to Humboldt. Paul passed away two years later and Elizabeth stayed in her home until she was 95 years old. Due to a bad fall she had to move to a nursing home. She loved being outdoors, especially working in her garden.ÌýElizabeth spent hours reading her cookbooks and had crocheted many afghans for her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Paul, a son Joseph, two grandchildren Jason Stein and Kevin Bodnard, and two great grandchildren twins Samatha and Joel Ripplinger; also three sisters Theresa Horvath, Mary Sarauer, Anna Anspach; two brothers Herman Fogen and John Fogen. She leaves to mourn three sons Donald (Irene), Flin Flon, Man., Richard (Audrey), Calmar, AB., Gerald (Kathy), Saskatoon, SK and five daughters Margaret (Roger) McCallum, Saskatoon, SK, Helen (Stanley) Bodnard, Watson, SK, Ann (Ken) Nagel, Regina, SK, Jeanette (Glen) Weatherby, Warman, SK, Linda (Roger) Oleksyn, Kelowna, BC, also daughter-in-law Rita Stein, Saskatoon, SK. She was blessed with 22 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
 A private graveside service will be held.
