WILSON:
The death of Mrs. Denise Anne (nee Zimmerman) Wilson of the Annaheim district occurred at Humboldt Airport, Humboldt, SK, on Saturday, August 20, 2011. She was 40 years of age. Denise was born to Francis "Frank" and Rose Marie (nee Rueve) Zimmerman on August 20, 1971, in Humboldt. She attended St. Augustine School, and later graduated from St. Peter's College in Muenster. Denise moved to Alberta in 1996 and married Christopher "Chris" Henry Wilson on August 7, 1999, at Manitou Beach. They continued to reside in Alberta where two children, a son and a daughter, were born. Four years ago, they returned to Saskatchewan where they bought an acreage near Annaheim. Denise was best known as a loving mother and dedicated homemaker. She is also remembered as being a warm-hearted, patient, and fun-loving person whose priority was her family. She made it a point to spend time playing with her children, and tended to her household chores in between. Denise also enjoyed bowling, camping, boating, reading and quadding. Denise is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Chris Henry Wilson and their two children, William "Max" and Katherine; mother, Rose Marie Zimmerman; two sisters, one brother, and their families: Delphine (Keith) Hogemann and children Derrick, Joshua, Coltin and Tyrell; Anna Marie Zimmerman; and Clinton (Shelley) Zimmerman and daughter Alex; father-in-law, Victor (Judy) Henry; mother-in-law, Peggy (Stephen) Wilson; and by sister-in-law, Amanda (Chad) Dezotell. She was predeceased by her father Frank (2003). The Prayer Service for Denise was held St. Ann's R.C. Church, Annaheim, on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., led by Fr. Richard Meidl, OSB. Scripture readers were Derrick Hogemann and Delphine Hogemann, and the eulogy was delivered by Laura Schreiner. The Funeral Mass was offered at St. Ann's R.C. Church on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., concelebrated by Fr. Richard Meidl, OSB, Fr. Daniel Muyres, OSB, and Fr. Rudolph Novecosky, OSB. Others taking part were: Joshua Hogemann, candle bearer; Coltin and Tyrell Hogemann and Jesus Aguilar, altar servers; Amanda Dezotell and Derrick Hogemann, scripture readers; Rose Marie Zimmerman, Delphine Hogemann and Anna Marie Zimmerman, gift bearers; Irene Zimmerman and Hermine Sarauer, eucharistic ministers. Honorary pallbearers were "all of Denise's family, friends and those who shared in her life".
