Danny Carl Nagy:

September 1, 1960 - April 3, 2013

It is with profound sadness that the family of Danny Carl Nagy of Annaheim, SK, announce his sudden and unexpected death at his residence on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was 52 years of age. Danny was born on September 1, 1960 to John and Adeline (nee Grundmann) Nagy in Humboldt, SK. He grew up on the family farm and attended school in St. Brieux. After completing his Grade 12, Danny moved to Lloydminster where he worked in the oilfield. It was during this time that he married his true love Brenda Tetarenko, on October 23, 1982 in St. Brieux, SK. In 1985, Danny and Brenda made the move to St. Brieux, where he started work at Bourgault Industries working at various positions throughout his 25 years there. In August of 1985, Danny and Brenda were blessed with the birth of their first daughter Angie, and then Ashley in 1988. In 1992, they moved to Annaheim, SK. Danny retired from his position at Bourgault Industries in 2010 which allowed him to spend more time doing two of his favorite things, fishing and woodworking. Danny enjoyed playing pool with family and friends especially when he would change the house rules to ensure he won the game. He had a great sense of humour and would always take the chance to tease anyone who drove a Ford. As an avid music lover he didn't have a preference for any one type of music, he would listen to anything as long as it was loud and sounded good on his stereo, which he loved to show off. Danny was a family man and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Danny will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 30 years Brenda (nee Tetarenko) Nagy of Annaheim, SK; his two daughters, Angie (Ryan) Peake and their son Axle, of Annaheim; and Ashley Nagy (Lance Knutson) and their daughter Sway, of Muenster, SK; his mother, Adeline (nee Grundmann) Nagy of Humboldt, SK; and one brother, Larry (Donna) Nagy of Saskatoon and their family, Brent (Chantel) Nagy and their son Owen of Saskatoon; Craig Nagy (Nicole Moser) of Saskatoon, and Neil Nagy (Terrai Androsoff) of Martensville, SK. He was predeceased by his father John Nagy and step father Otto Nagy. The Funeral Service for Danny was held at St. Brieux R.C. Church, St. Brieux, on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Dave MacPherson. Others taking part were; Joy Simon and Michelle Dawe, readers; Ricky Krystal, eulogist; Michelle Dawe, memorial table attendant. Honorary pallbearers were "all those who shared in Danny's life". Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to either the SPFFA Burn Fund or Telemiracle. Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, SK.
