WOLOSHYN, Brenda Leone (nee Maryniak) was born in Rose Valley, Sask., on July 3, 1966, third child of John and Lillian Maryniak. She married Derrick Woloshyn on October 3, 1992, and they raised their sons, Matthew, Daniel and Logan in Spalding. Brenda was an active member of her community, widely known thanks to her job a the Co-op store, her long involvement with the bowling alley, and simply by being a quiet but powerful personality packed into a small, hard-working frame. She loved flowers and her garden, time spent by the lake, and the jigsaw and Sudoku puzzles that occupied her busy brain. But above all, she valued family. Brenda was predeceased by her mother Lillian; aunts, Annie, Marion and Nancy; uncles, Joe, Albert and Andy; brother Gordon; nephew Jason; cousin Corinna; grandparents, Les and Margaret Dowling, and Paul and Mary Maryniak. She will be sorely missed by all those she leaves to mourn-- Derrick and the boys, her father John; brother Elden; sister Donna and Bruce Irvine; nieces, Charissa and Michelle; numerous aunts and uncles; in-laws, Joe and Celeste Woloshyn; brother-in-law Jeffrey; and so many other family members and friends. We lost Brenda far too soon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brenda's memory to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Association. Arrangements in care of Tompkins Funeral Home, Wadena, SK. The Woloshyn and Maryniak clans would like to extend their deep gratitude to all those who have helped and continue to help, in small and large ways, to get us through this difficult time. Bless you all.
