The sudden and unexpected passing of Andrew Bauer occurred on Friday, April 24, 2015, at the age of 33 years. Andrew (Andy) was born on August 12, 1981 at RUH in Saskatoon, SK. He was the third child and only son to his parents, Duane and Joyce Bauer. He attended school in both Pilger and Middle Lake and graduated in 1999, went on to Lakeland College in Lloydminster, AB and later to St. Peter’s College in Muenster, SK. Andy enjoyed fishing, hunting, geocaching, farming, and spending time with his friends. He loved technology, building computers and sharing his skills with others. He worked for many years at St. Peter’s College in the IT Department and dedicated a lot of his time to creating websites and doing graphic design work. Andy had a huge heart and a gentle soul. His quick wit and sharp sense of humor always brought joy and laughter to those who knew him. Andy will be greatly missed by everyone – his family, his friends, and his PCP (X-Box) brothers. Andy will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his mother, Joyce (nee Pomedli) Bauer-Braun (Ken) of Pilger, his two sisters, Christa (Keith) of Pilger and Reva of Muenster, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Duane Bauer, grandparents, John and Evelyn Pomedli and George and Ann Bauer, and his beloved dog of 15 years, Oliver. The Funeral Mass for Andrew was offered at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Pilger, SK, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Demetrius Wasylyniuk, OSB.
