EICHINGER -The death of Mrs. Agnes Eichinger, 54 years of Humboldt occurred on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Humboldt District Hospital. Agnes was born on September 12, 1957 in Humboldt. She grew up in the Prud'homme area with parents, Jean Baptiste and Irene Grimard, and her six siblings. She attended Prud'home School. Following that, she worked in North Battleford for a time at a Seniors Home. Agnes married Lawrence Eichinger on June 30, 1979 and they began their married life on the farm. They built a home in Humboldt which they moved into in March 1982. Agnes worked at a variety of jobs through the years, however looking after her home and family were her main priority. She enjoyed quilt making, knitting, and embroidery as well as doing puzzles, watching movies, baking and cooking and shopping with Christina. They enjoyed going to Bronco games and were billets for a number of years. For the last few years, Agnes has been involved with the Senior's Club and has been their bingo caller for the past year. Agnes is survived by her husband, Lawrence of Humboldt; two daughters and one son: Lori Anne (Mark) Dunne of Moose Jaw; Christina Eichinger and Timothy Eichinger, both of Saskatoon; her mother, Irene Grimard of Saskatoon; one sister, Edna (Don) Breeze of Saskatoon; three brothers: Robert (Denise) Grimard of Saskatoon; Albert (Joan) Grimard of Kelowna, BC; and Wilfred (Ramone) Grimard of Victoriaville, PC; and numerous sisters-and-brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Jean Baptiste Grimard; and two brothers, Charles and Clement. The Prayer Service for Agnes was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. and the Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Both services were held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt.
