Woman facing charges following robbery on Moosomin First Nation

MOOSOMIN FIRST NATION - Police are investigating a robbery on Moosomin First Nation.

On March 23 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a robbery on Moosomin First Nation.

Investigation determined three suspects approached an individual, threatened them with a firearm and knife, and stole their vehicle.

 Officers continued looking for the suspect and stolen vehicle, following up on several reports of sightings.

 On March 24, officers located the stolen vehicle abandoned on the Iffley grid road.

 As a result of continued investigation, a woman was arrested on March 25. The 23-year-old woman, from Moosomin First Nation, is charged with two counts of robbery. She is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on March 26.

The investigation continues.
