Vehicle fails to remain at scene after collision with cyclist north of Maidstone

Police are investigating after driver fails to remain at scene of collision.

LASHBURN - Police are asking for the public's help after a driver failed to remain at the scene after a cyclist was injured in a collision on the highway, north of Maidstone. 

In the early morning of July 28, Maidstone RCMP responded to a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a car on Highway 16 between Waseca and Lashburn. The adult female victim reported minor injuries as a result of the collision.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene and is described as a white four-door car.

Police continue to investigate.
