Update: As of 3:44 p.m., the City of North Battleford advised the media that additional motor accidents have been reported within the city.
The city does not have any information at this stage related to injuries to those involved in the accidents
The city's director of protective service is on one of the scenes presently and advises that the snowfall from last night has coated icy conditions from the last two weeks and is creating unsafe driving conditions.

The City of North Battleford's director of protective services is reminding motorists to drive with caution today after a five-centimeter snowfall overnight.
According to the city, The North Battleford Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on the morning of Jan. 22 near the Saskatchewan Hospital. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle was travelling with excessive speed, causing a slide through a stop sign before coming to a rest in a ditch.
City snow removal crews are on the roads this morning to provide snow clearing and plowing. Allowing distance between vehicles and snow removal equipment will help improve overall safety for operators and the public.
The city also noted in a press release that they anticipated there would be a large group of pedestrians representing the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation crossing 100th Street today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the intersections of 19th Avenue and 20th Avenue.
Community Safety Officers will be present to help mitigate safety concerns for those crossing roadways and to serve as a visual reminder for drivers to obey posted speed limits
