BATTLEFORDS - The votes are finally in.
Rosemarie Falk has been declared the winner in the Battlefords-Lloydminster-Meadow Lake riding in the preliminary election results.
The Conservative Party of Canada candidate, the incumbent in the former Battlefords-Lloydminster riding, took home first spot in Monday's federal election, coming in with 77.7 per cent of the preliminary vote count for 134 of 183 polls reporting.
Coming in second place was Liberal Party of Canada candidate Larry Ingram garnering 17 per cent of the vote count.
Canada's New Democratic Party candidate William Petryk received 4.6 per cent, and the Canadian Future Party’s Darrell Patan received 0.7 per cent.
