Meadow Lake sees familiar faces on council in election results

MEADOW LAKE - The City of Meadow Lake will see many of its incumbents reclaiming their seats on council in last night's election. The results came in on Thursday morning.

Here is the list of the top six candidates to claim a seat on council: 

Martin Bishop (incumbent) with 483 votes; Connie Marsh-Yuhasz with 364 votes; Mauri Young (incumbent) with 358 votes; Ron Dishko (incumbent) with 290 votes; Conrad Read (incumbent) with 274 votes; and Mike Ferguson coming in with 267 votes. 

They defeated candidates Tom Harrison (incumbent) who garnered 263 votes; Dwayne Mysko with 205 votes; Anne Duriez with 170 votes; and Carla Schweitzer (Silver) with 72 votes.  

Merlin Seymour has been acclaimed for the position of mayor.
