The Yorkton Terriers had four-straight preseason wins, but that has not translated to regular season success.
With four Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games in the books the Terriers are still looking for their first win.
The latest losses came in a pair of weekend road games.
With no wins in the books the Terriers are in the basement of the SJHL Viterra Division alongside the also winless Melville Millionaires.
Weyburn leads the division with only an overtime loss in four starts to blemish their start, leaving them with seven points. Estevan is second with six points.
Friday the Terriers fell behind 1-0 after 20-minutes to the Battleford North Stars as Dustin Gorgi scored for the home team.
The teams traded pairs of second period markers, Igor Leonenko and Coby Downs for the Stars, with Jordan Evans and Jordan McCausland scoring for the Terriers.
But that would be the extent of the Terrier offence, as the Stars rounded out a 4-2 win with a third period marker by Jordan Wiest.
Matt Kustra was in the Terrier net facing 33-shots in the loss.
Saturday the Terriers were in Kindersley.
The Terriers again trailed by a single goal after 20-minutes, this time by a 2-1 margin.
Dayton Boutilier gave the Terriers a 1-0 lead 8:28 into the game with a powerplay goal.
Daniell Lange and Brendon Benson would then score 1:10 apart to give the hosts a lead.
In the second the Terriers would push to a tie outscoring the Stars 3-2.
Brandon Sookro would lead the way with a pair for Yorkton, one with the man advantage. Adam Santoro had the third goal.
Lange and Carson Pickett had the Klipper goals.
In the third Benson would give Kindersley another lead scoring 2:23 into the frame on the powerplay.
Sam Binfet would make it a two-goal margin at 5:48.
Evans would use a Yorkton powerplay to get the Terriers back within one at 7:53, but that would be the end of scoring in the 6-5 loss.
Kustra was again in the nets facing 39-shots.

The Terriers are scheduled to play in Estevan tonight (Wednesday).
Friday Yorkton will host Notre Dame at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
The Terriers then head to Warman to take part in the SJHL Showcase, facing LaRonge Monday, Oct. 4, and playing Melville Tuesday.
