REGINA - With a winter storm in progress, the City of Regina has declared snow routes in effect.

It means no on-street parking is allowed along the identified routes for a 24-hour period. According to the City’s news release this is in effect from 6 a.m. Monday, March 4 along the snow route until 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 5.

This will allow crews to plow roads from curb to curb, improving traffic flow along the busy roadways; it will also ensure roads are passable for emergency response vehicles.

The snow routes are identified by blue signs with a white snowflake.Vehicles which remain parked on the snow route during the temporary parking ban will be ticketed.
