Scenes from Remembrance Day ceremonies in Regina

Ceremonies take place at Brandt Centre and Victoria Park marking Remembrance Day,

REGINA - Remembrance Day was marked in Regina with ceremonies at two locations in the city.

The largest of the ceremonies was the annual event at Brandt Centre, attended by dignitaries including Mayor Sandra Masters and Member of Parliament Warren Steinley. The event was hosted by the Regina Royal Canadian Legion Branch 001 and was emceed by Gloria Evans of 620 CKRM.

Also happening around the same time was the outdoor Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph in Victoria Park. Those were also hosted by Regina Royal Canadian Legion Branch 001.

The two ceremonies were among many to take place across Saskatchewan on Nov. 11 and in the days leading up to it. A Service of Remembrance for the Public Service took place at the Legislature last week.
