Glaslyn RCMP investigate copper theft

GLASLYN — On Dec. 4, Glaslyn RCMP received a complaint of a break, enter and theft of copper wire from a rural land location in the RM of Parkdale.

The owner of the property reported that they happened upon a blue four-door Mazda car with two occupants who had been inside the residence and outbuildings. The suspects were damaging the property by taking the wire out and stripping it. The incident seems to have occurred over the weekend. The residence is not currently occupied.
