Creelman to host ‘Biggest Little Fair in Saskatchewan’ on July 15

A full slate of activities and events will held for the one-day Creelman Fair, billed as the “Biggest Little Fair in Saskatchewan”, on Saturday, July 15.

WEYBURN – A full slate of activities and events will held for the one-day Creelman Fair, billed as the “Biggest Little Fair in Saskatchewan”, on Saturday, July 15.

The day will kick off with a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Creelman Memorial Hall.

The Fair Parade will held down Main Street at 10 a.m., featuring a variety of float entries from the community and surrounding area.

At the Creelman exhibition grounds, a wide range of events and attractions await fair-goers, with an admission cost of $5 per person, and children six and under get in for free.

For animal lovers, there will be a horse show, cattle show, dog show, and pens with a variety of animals including alpacas, sheep, rabbits and poultry, and the perennial favourite, the pig scramble for all age levels.

There are exhibits to view, including field and garden, handicrafts, baking, plants and cut flowers, photography, and school exhibits.

A kids midway will be on the exhibition grounds, along with the concession booths, a beer gardens and cabaret, and a cold plate meal is available all day in the rink, including homemade pie.
