P.A. man has more court appearances on 2011 sex assault charges

A Prince Albert man who pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges stemming from almost a decade ago had another court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Police arrested Jason Glen Dreaver, 39, from Muskoday First Nation, in March 2020 after he failed to appear in court.

He is charged with sexual assault for an alleged 2011 sexual assault. He was charged additionally with failing to appear in court and failing to attend court.

Prince Albert RCMP released his photo after he failed to appear in court. Dreaver was released on bail shortly after his arrest in March.

The charges against Dreaver haven’t been proven in court.

Dreaver had appearances on Aug. 11 to speak to the matter but the matter was adjourned to Aug. 25 to be spoken to and on Aug. 25 the matter was adjourned to Sept. 2 to be spoken to.
