REGINA - When will the ballots be counted in the 2024 Provincial Election, and how are they counted?

All ballots are paper and are marked by the voter by hand. Saskatchewan Elections emphasizes that all ballots are counted by hand by election workers. There are no electronic ballots, voting machines, or counting machines used in a Saskatchewan provincial election.

Some workers will have more ballots to count than others, so voting results will not all report at the same time.
