Chris Beaudry is Sask Party’s nomination for Kelvington-Wadena

ROSE VALLEY – Chris Beaudry won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Kelvington-Wadena in the 2024 provincial election. He defeated,Len Kowalchuk as the other candidate. 

“I am honoured to be the Saskatchewan Party candidate for Kelvington-Wadena in the upcoming election,” Beaudry said. “I will be working hard across the constituency over the upcoming months to connect with as many people as possible.” 

Beaudry served as part of the coaching staff for the Humboldt Broncos until the tragic accident in 2018. Since then, he has engaged in public speaking and advocacy across North America focusing on mental health, trauma, and grief. He helped establish the first online mental health course for students through the Sun West School Division, and has worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Beaudry and his wife, Richelle have three daughters and live on a farm near St Front.

Beaudry has been active in his local community serving on multiple boards including the Prairie North Co-operative, the Living Dying Project, and the Rose Valley SCC. Beaudry said, "I believe serving the public will be a very rewarding and worthwhile experience.I've been interested in politics and serving my community since I seen June Draude speak in my school in 1997."

Beaudry said his interests in government are the fields of mental health and addictions, agriculture, and sport, leisure, and culture.
