SASKATOON – Two men arrested in a dial-a-dope investigation made their first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on June 10.
Fanjanpreet Gahlan and Muhammed Tashliev were charged after Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and SPS Tactical Support Unit (TSU) conducted an enforcement targeting the operation in the 1800 block of 8 Street East on June 8.
Officers seized $6,796 in cash, 29 grams of methamphetamine, 45.6 grams of hard cocaine, 8.8 grams of powdered cocaine, cell phones, folding knives, drug packaging and other items consistent with drug trafficking, a 2010 Dodge Caravan, and a 2012 Ford Focus.
The two men, ages 31 and 23, face four drug trafficking offences, possession of property valued over $5,000 obtained by crime, and a weapons-related offence.
They are back in Saskatoon court on July 2 to enter an election.
