SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service is being recognized as one of Saskatchewan’s top employers for the 12th year.

“As a progressive workplace, we prioritize the physical and mental well-being of all our employees,” says Police Chief Dave Daye. “With nearly 750 employees, we strive to be reflective of our community and maintain the support and trust of those we serve.”

SPS says there are several factors that go into the competition; physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

Top Employer contenders are closely analyzed in comparison to other Saskatchewan organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
