SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating a suspicious death that occurred earlier this morning.
Saskatoon Police Service says that at approximately 3 a.m. Feb. 19, patrol officers responded to a report on the 1000 block of Matheson Drive regarding a male youth who had sustained a serious injury. The youth was transported to hospital for further treatment however succumbed to his injury a short time later. At this time, the death is considered suspicious.
Police currently have two youth suspects and one adult suspect in custody. Investigators with the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections continue to investigate. There is no risk to the general public, and further updates will be released when more information becomes available.
