SASKATOON – A 43-year-old woman charged in the death of a one-year-old boy made her first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court Monday. Melanie O’Soup is charged with criminal negligence causing death.
The crown is opposed to O'Soup's release and she is back in court March 13 for a bail hearing.
Saskatoon police were called to the baby’s sudden death in the 100 block of Avenue T Â鶹ÊÓƵ at about 11:23 a.m. on March 9.
