Sask. man and Alta. man die in head-on collision in Alberta

The Saskatchewan and Alberta men, who were in the same vehicle, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Fort MacLeod and Picture Butte RCMP were dispatched to the collision at about 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.

A 52-year-old man from Nipawin, Sask., and a 63-year-old man from Taber, Alta., were killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Highway 23 at Township Road 104 on Jan. 10.

Fort MacLeod and Picture Butte RCMP were dispatched to the collision at about 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. The preliminary police investigation revealed that one vehicle crossed the center line and struck the other.

The Nipawin and Taber men, who were in the same vehicle, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

There were three other passengers who were taken to hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

 RCMP send their condolences to the family and friends of both deceased.
