Regina’s second homicide of the year under investigation

REGINA — The Regina Police Service is investigating the death of an adult male, which is the second homicide in Regina in 2024.

On Saturday, June 1, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Reynolds Street for the report of an injured male. EMS arrived and transported the male to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have determined this death is a homicide.

Next of kin have been notified and the name of the deceased will not be released at this time.
